Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The Legal Department is looking for a Specialist to join our team in Troy, MI. This role supports the Internal Legal Department, managing daily operations and projects, monitoring automated and manual processes, and participating in projects/analysis as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Read and assess legal documents, validate accuracy and take requisite action; identify and resolve data or content discrepancies through utilization of internal and external resources in a timely manner
  • Retrieve, print and attach appropriate documents
  • Attention to detail and multitasking
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Sort/Alphabetize documents
  • Effectively communicate status of projects and workload
Experience
  • Required:

    1-2 years customer service or clerical experience. Experience with MS Office. Good communication skills; data entry.
  • Preferred: 2+ years work experience in financial services related field. System querying skills. Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel).
Language

Required:

English.
