Supplier Global Trade Compliance Manager

• Develop, implement, and maintain global trade compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to international trade laws, including import/export regulations, sanctions, and customs requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.
• Serve as the primary liaison with customs authorities, brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage classification of goods (HTS, ECCN), valuation, country of origin, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee denied party screening and ensure proper licensing and documentation for controlled goods.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on trade compliance matters.
• Investigate and resolve compliance violations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with legal, supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in GLOBAL trade compliance or customs operations.
• Experience having direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, OFAC, CBP).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and trade compliance software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with ESG-related trade compliance frameworks.

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or automotive.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCS, CES, CUSECO) are a plus.
