Mission

Manage Indirect Purchasing duties to acquire services, products and spare parts, aligned with strategic goals, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Activities
  • To lead, negotiate and source non‑production suppliers (indirect materials, indirect services, and capital expenditures)
  • Develop and manage assigned regional Indirect Supply Commodity Strategy
  • Manage supplier relationship within an Extended Enterprise framework in support of the team in accordance with the Purchasing procedures and policy/compliance
  • Ensure the competitiveness of his/her commodity achieving aggressive cost targets, considering quality, cost, technology and compliance to reach PO needs.
  • Long term agreements, supply base management, score card, number of supplier gap closure on activities
  • Challenge/Negotiate Supply Base with data analytics/competitive cost
  • Work closely with internal departments for selection suppliers to obtain best cost competitive pricing
  • Manage and resolve supplier issues
  • Support local buying functions: MRO/Stockroom, Plant Office Equipment and contracts
  • Develop and implement Cost Models and Cost Estimating Tools for assigned commodities
  • Drive cost reductions/productivity aligned to global purchasing objectives
  • Review and place purchase orders for non‑production requirements
  • Consistently meet and exceed cost cutting goals
  • Align and keep constant communication with Plants, Regional and Global Indirect Purchasing.
  • Build synergy with divisional relationships.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facility is in full compliance with all corporate safety regulations.
Profile
  • College Degree (Major in Business preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Purchasing preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to collect, maintain, and interpret data.
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ethical conduct and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Detail‑oriented with proven accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functions.
