About Us

E7 Solutions is a technology partner helping teams work smarter across the tools they love. As an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner and a Superhuman partner, we deliver seamless integrations, process improvements, and scalable collaboration environments. Our growing network of partnerships ensures clients stay connected, efficient, and ready for what’s next.

Our core values underscore our work, and our unique culture is at the heart of our motivation. E7 embraces a remote-friendly culture built on trust, balance, and collaboration. We bring together distributed talent with a strong local presence in Troy, Michigan — proving that innovation and connection can thrive anywhere. We strongly believe in the philosophy that "to conquer every mountain, we must go as a team."

This commitment to teamwork has earned us recognition, including being awarded Crain’s Coolest Places to Work in recent years.

E7 is a privately-owned firm headquartered in Troy, Michigan, and serves clients both domestically and globally.

What this role is

This isn’t a typical EA role. Calendar, email, and travel are table stakes—this position is the operational backbone for a CEO balancing E7 leadership, a leadership coaching practice (Veritable Leaders), weekly writing and thought leadership, speaking engagements, EO commitments, and an active personal/family life.

If you enjoy variety, fast context-switching, and building systems that make complex worlds run smoothly, this role will feel energizing. If you need predictable swim lanes and step-by-step instructions, it likely won’t.

What you’ll do (core responsibilities)
  • Run the CEO’s time and priorities across domains (business, coaching, writing/speaking, EO, personal logistics)—anticipating needs and staying ahead of what’s next.
  • Turn ambiguity into action: take general direction, create clear next steps, and drive follow-through to completion.
  • Meeting + follow-up ownership: attend weekly CEO meetings (and select events as needed), capture action items, track commitments, and keep projects moving.
  • Support thought leadership + publishing: coordinate a weekly writing workflow (editing/scheduling/distribution/engagement) and speaking logistics; build lightweight systems for repurposing content across platforms.
  • Business operations + relationships: liaise with E7 leadership, support strategic initiatives, coordinate across partners/clients, and help prepare materials for planning sessions and presentations.
  • Personal/professional integration: help coordinate commitments with family priorities; handle the “human, messy stuff” that doesn’t work neat categories.
Who thrives here

You’ll do well in this role if you are:

  • Proactive and solution-oriented—you see what needs to happen and move without waiting to be told.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity—you ask good questions, make sound assumptions, and create clarity.
  • Systems-minded—you spot patterns and build simple structures that scale.
  • A direct, low-jargon communicator who can represent the CEO professionally while staying human and authentic.
  • Organized under pressure—able to juggle multiple threads and keep things from slipping.
  • Personable and emotionally intelligent, with discretion (confidentiality matters) and a sense of humor.
What to expect (important upfront)

Priorities will shift. The CEO thinks out loud at times and may give directions that require interpretation. Standards are high, and feedback is honest (and respectful).

Requirements
  • 3–5 years in executive administration (or comparable operational support role).
  • Strong organization + project coordination; excellent written/verbal communication; sound judgment and confidentiality.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to work from Troy, MI office 2x/week.
