We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/DS Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling. This role requires real implementation experience, not just functional exposure.
Open to remote candidates in EST/CST with occasional travel to Michigan or Mexico
Duration: 6 Months + Ext
LocationTroy, Michigan (Onsite preferred)
Key Requirements- Strong hands‑on experience in SAP PP/DS (not just PP or QM)
- Experience with at least 1 full implementation
- Expertise in PPDS Setup Optimizer
- Experience with PPDS BAdI enhancements
- 15–20 years of overall experience
- Background in Manufacturing / Automotive domain
- SAP S/4
HANA PP/DS (Embedded or DSC Edition) - Detailed Scheduling, Planning Board, Pegging
- Constraint‑based planning and sequencing
- Cross‑location planning and supply optimization
- Production planning and scheduling strategies
- APO ABAP experience
- End‑to‑end supply chain knowledge (Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics)
- Automotive or discrete manufacturing experience
- Candidates with only SAP PP or QM experience will not be considered
- Should have hands‑on PP/DS project experience
- No support or purely functional profiles
