Manager Trainee – Operations (Travel Program – Relocation Required)
Position is based in a Bio Life Center (not remote) and requires relocation upon promotion to a management role.
OverviewAs a Manager Trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive 12‑month training program designed to develop leadership, operational, and regulatory skills. Upon completion, you will be eligible to advance to an Assistant Manager role.
Typical Day- Assist Manager career growth & development: structured training, mentorship, and leadership guidance.
- Learn Operations Management: hands‑on experience in operational production, financial, regulatory, administrative, marketing, quality, facilities, and people management.
- Production Environment & Customer Service: contribute to donor floor operations, ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Develop Leadership and Employee Relations
Skills:
practice team member selection, performance feedback, mentorship, and fostering an inclusive environment. - Contribute to Creating Life‑Changing Medicines: maintain quality and safety standards, achieve production and cost goals, and comply with SOPs.
- Networking (Travel) Opportunities: explore Bio Life locations nationwide and learn from team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience (approximately 3 years).
- Willingness to travel up to 85% and ability to relocate upon promotion.
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain during the program).
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach; lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally 50 lbs.; fine motor coordination and distance monitoring of equipment.
- Due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens, 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
- Familiarity with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, and FDA regulations.
- Experience working in a regulated industry or high‑compliance environment.
Base Salary Range: $54,400 – $74,800. The actual base salary offered may depend on qualifications, experience, and location.
