Position Title: Private Bank Deposit Product Manager Sr - Treasury Management

Location: New York, NY 10018

Job Summary

This senior Treasury Management Product Manager is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and delivering new value-added products that enhance product lines, improve competitive position, and increase revenues while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role takes an end‑to‑end view of payment products, uses customer insights, stays informed on emerging technologies and markets, and collaborates with sales, marketing, operations, technology, and customer service to launch products aligned with business priorities.

The position requires strategic thinking, process orientation, and strong project‑management skills to connect market evolution with customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Product development & management
    • Ideate and develop compelling products for the bank’s retail and wholesale clients.
    • Oversee product metrics, launches, and performance to ensure success against product goals.
    • Ensure continuous improvement of the product and that compliance meets market needs.
    • Keep abreast of industry competitors, both traditional and non‑traditional.
    • Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, guiding introduction through development, business case, and implementation.
    • Work closely with the MIS/Data science team to translate business requirements.
  • Strategy
    • Work closely with business leaders to understand objectives.
    • Identify product opportunities and gaps, determine financial impact, and inform multi‑year strategy.
    • Aggressively learn industry dynamics and develop a perspective on payment industry, both traditional and non‑traditional products and rails.
    • Develop, maintain, and own a product roadmap that balances strategic objectives, capital investments, marketplace differentiation, customer experience, compliance & risk, and sales & distribution needs.
  • Leadership, organizational alignment & talent management
    • Develop trusted partnerships within the enterprise and coach teams.
    • Lead a matrix team, consulting partner groups such as IT, HR, marketing, audit, risk, etc.
    • Solve problems creatively and align organizational forces for sustainable competitive differentiation.
    • Play a lead role in marketing products; ensure proper training, positioning, and continuous maintenance.
    • Align HR, compliance, risk, IT, finance, and other support groups for collaborative impact.
  • Additional Accountabilities
    • Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
    • Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies, complete required trainings, and maintain compliance with applicable laws.
Job Requirements
  • Required Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience researching, designing, developing, or delivering new value-added products in payments, banking or Fin Tech.
    • 5+ years of experience developing and driving product strategy or sales.
    • Experience gathering and transforming customer and business needs into an actionable product roadmap.
    • Experience creating product artifacts such as market research summaries, competitive analyses, business cases, and customer journey maps.
    • Experience with digital product development and cross‑functional delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Master’s degree or postgraduate equivalent.
    • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
  • Job Competencies
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Detailed expertise in wholesale receivables/payables solutions.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with high attention to detail.
    • Direct involvement with Receivables Networks such as NACHA, The Clearing House, AFP, and external vendors.
    • Ability to foster internal and external collaborative partnerships.
    • Continual growth of knowledge on treasury management products and services.
    • Expertise in business cash flows, accounting processes, and financial optimization.
    • Expertise in government regulations such as UCC, Reg CC, Reg E, and regulatory guidance.
    • Sales/negotiation aptitude and ability to communicate with senior executives.
