Job Description & How to Apply Below

Taikisha USA is a premier provider of turnkey design-engineer-build solutions for large-scale industrial paint facility installations for the automotive, heavy trucking, motorcycles, aerospace, and general industries. Our expertise includes delivering world-class spray paint booths, industrial ovens, and other paint system equipment for some of the highest-output production environments globally.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex, high-value design-build construction projects from kickoff through commissioning. This role is ideal for a seasoned, field-savvy leader with a strong engineering foundation and a proven track record managing large, multi-trade industrial construction programs—including $100M+ capital projects—driving safety, cost, schedule, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead large, complex industrial construction projects (design-build/EPC)—including $100M+ programs—with full lifecycle accountability for scope, budget, schedule, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct field execution and site logistics: construction planning, sequencing, constructability reviews, work packaging, shutdown/outage coordination (when applicable), and day-to-day issue resolution.
  • Manage general contractors and subcontractors across multiple trades; set expectations, enforce accountability, and maintain a high-performing job site culture.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction to ensure materials and deliverables align with the construction schedule and installation requirements.
  • Own commercial performance: cost forecasting, earned value/progress measurement, change management, claims avoidance, and timely client-facing documentation.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and performance through planning sessions, status reviews, and executive-level updates that enable timely decision-making.
  • Drive proactive risk management—safety, constructability, sequencing, changing conditions, contingencies, and contract terms—to minimize cost and schedule impacts.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to remove barriers and keep execution moving.
  • Lead commissioning, turnover, and start-up activities; ensure punch lists, documentation, and closeout requirements are completed to standard.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and reinforcing accountability at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience project managing large industrial/commercial construction projects, including demonstrated delivery of $100M+ CAPEX jobs, with accountability for cost, schedule, and field execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Required Skills
  • Preferred: PMP and/or OSHA 30; experience delivering design-build/EPC projects and commissioning/turnover.
  • Demonstrated success delivering multi-trade scopes (civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, controls) and coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction interfaces.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with experience managing project financials, forecasting, change orders, and risk.
  • Experience leading contractors and subcontractors on active jobsites, with a track record of building accountability and maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience interfacing with executive leadership and customers.
  • Strategic mindset paired with the ability to dive into details to drive execution and remove roadblocks.

Taikisha USA offers a full range of competitive benefits, including potential profit sharing bonus, paid time off, platinum health care, strong 401(k) match, employer paid life & disability insurance, and more.
