Job Description About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Construction to lead the successful delivery of complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for managing project performance across schedule, budget, quality, and safety
.
You will oversee multiple projects or a large, high-value project while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to internal team members. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution- Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through warranty
- Develop and manage project schedules, identifying risks and driving solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
- Manage full project P&L, including budgets, forecasts, and cost control
- Oversee billing, change orders, and financial reporting
- Monitor project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Partner with estimating and design teams on budgets, schedules, and constructability
- Support proposal development, client presentations, and project pursuits
- Contribute to value engineering and strategic project planning
- Lead subcontractor selection, negotiation, and contract execution
- Monitor performance related to schedule, safety, and quality
- Approve invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance
- Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, and project closeout
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and project-specific requirements
- Supervise and develop Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance
- Lead process improvements and contribute to operational excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 8–10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Proven success delivering projects valued at $10M+ (experience with $20M+ projects )
- Experience managing multiple projects or large-scale developments
- Proficiency in Procore
, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 - Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, BIM workflows
, and construction documentation - Experience with construction financials, forecasting, and ERP systems
- OSHA 30 (required or obtained within 90 days)
- PMP, CCM, or DBIA certification
- LEED accreditation
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Sound business judgment and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Combination of office and active construction site work
- Regular travel to project sites (some overnight travel required)
- Ability to navigate active job sites and perform site inspections
