Superintendent, Commercial Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our Commercial Project & Construction Management team. This role is integral to the successful execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project schedules and quality benchmarks. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to mitigate delays or issues. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address project needs and resolve challenges. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders. Lead and motivate on-site teams to foster a productive and positive work environment. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal construction regulations.

Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid/CPR) are highly desirable.

Start each day with a site meeting to review progress, address challenges, and align teams on daily objectives. Conduct site walkthroughs to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Review and update project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines. Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

Troubleshoot on-site issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum. Document daily activities, including progress reports, safety incidents, and any changes to project scope.
