About the Role
We are a family-owned, fast-growing organization looking for an energetic, positive, and customer-focused Customer Specialist to join our outbound calling team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who brings a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. You ll be engaging with former customers across 24 locations, supporting service needs, scheduling technicians, and helping drive business during a busy season.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Location: Onsite
- Make 50+ outbound calls per day to former customers
- Support 2-3 assigned locations at a time
- Handle service requests, including some warm transfers
- Monitor and respond to service tickets quickly to ensure excellent customer care
- Schedule service technicians and coordinate daily routes
- Assist walk-in customers and provide immediate support
- Learn product knowledge in order to confidently answer customer questions
- Work through daily task lists and contribute ideas for improving processes
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Comfort working independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn contracts, measurements, and product details
- Outgoing, positive, energetic personality
- Ability to multitask and stay highly organized
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office)
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of professional work experience (customer service or call center preferred)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
