** Hometown Dental is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dependable Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Canton, Michigan!
** We are a patient-focused dental practice providing comprehensive family, cosmetic, restorative, implant, orthodontic, and emergency dental care. Our goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient while delivering high-quality dentistry using modern technology.### What You'll DoAs a Dental Assistant at Hometown Dental, you will play an important role in supporting our doctors and providing an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
* Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments
* Taking dental X-rays and assisting with digital imaging
* Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards
* Providing compassionate chairside support and patient education
* Helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits
* Preparing materials and instruments for restorative and surgical procedures
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
* Supporting the dental team with day-to-day clinical needs### What We're Looking For
* Previous dental assisting experience preferred
* Dental assisting certification/credentials as required by Michigan regulations
* Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Warm, friendly, and professional personality
* Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment
