Assistant Professor – English (Troy)
Teaching 4 courses per semester (12 semester hours) or 8 per year (24 semester hours), focusing on sophomore‑level literature with occasional upper‑division courses.
Responsibilities- Deliver in‑class instruction with a focus on teaching excellence.
- Prepare lessons, lectures, and course materials.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
- Integrate online teaching as needed, ensuring engagement.
- Participate in department meetings and curriculum development.
- MA in English or Ph.D. in English or related discipline.
- Preferred publication record in literary studies.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate literature courses.
- Commitment to student success and continuous learning.
Full‑time, Monday–Friday as needed. In‑class teaching 75%; online teaching up to 25%.
