Student Ministry Events & Programming Coordinator (Middle School)
Part-Time (20 Hours/Week) | Hourly, Non-Exempt | Troy Campus
Woodside Bible Church is seeking a passionate, organized, and relational leader to serve as our Student Ministry Events & Programming Coordinator (Middle School). This part‑time, hourly, non‑exempt role supports the execution of weekly middle school programming, events, and outreach initiatives while helping students take their next step with Christ.
Working alongside the Student Ministry Associate Director (Middle School), this role helps create engaging ministry environments, supports volunteers and student leaders, builds relationships with local schools, and extends the reach of Woodside Student Ministries into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of weekly middle school programming and special events.
- Coordinate ministry logistics, setup, resources, and communication for programming nights.
- Facilitate student participation and help create engaging, welcoming ministry environments.
- Support and encourage student leaders and ministry volunteers.
- Assist with camps, retreats, One Nights, and other ministry events.
- Build relationships with local schools and support REACH Christian Clubs and outreach opportunities.
- Recruit and support parent champions who help strengthen ministry connections within local schools.
- Create and manage social media content that highlights the life and impact of the ministry.
- Collaborate with the broader Student Ministry team on campus and multi‑site initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with middle school students strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in student ministry, event coordination, volunteer leadership, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable using technology and ministry systems.
- Passion for reaching and discipling students.
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity and alignment with the mission, values, and ministry philosophy of Woodside Bible Church.
- Part‑time position working 20 hours per week.
- Hourly, non‑exempt classification.
- Some evenings, weekends, and special events are required.
- Active membership and ongoing participation at the Troy Campus are required.
