Math Instructor
Sylvan Learning Center, the world's leading provider of supplemental education, is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-starting individual to serve as a Math Instructor.
Qualifications:
- Ability to teach basic math (1-9) and upper level math – ie. Alg. 1, Alg. 2, Geometry
- Bachelor's degree and educational experience
- Prior teaching or subject experience - Teaching credential a plus (any state, any status);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working independently, as well as taking direction
- Understanding of the importance of education and its value in our lives
Major Responsibilities:
- Work in-center with young students teaching math
- Maintain communication on student attendance and progress
- Establish a strong working relationship with students and center staff

Hourly rate $14-20/hr
