Job Summary

The Lecturer of Business Law position in the School of Management at the Sorrell College of Business is a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty position with a ten‑month appointment beginning August 1, 2026. This position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Law, Employment Law, and Business Communication; providing instruction in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online formats; advising students; and serving the School, College, University, and community.

Candidates may also conduct academic research in line with AACSB expectations.

• Instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Law, Employment Law, and Business Communication.
• Deliver instruction in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online formats.
• Advise students on academic and professional matters.
• Participate in service activities for the School, College, University, and community.

• Engage in academic research aligned with AACSB standards (additional responsibility to those with relevant expertise).

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.

• Relevant professional experience.
• Peer‑reviewed research publications.
• Effective teaching record that complements academic credentials.

• Work status:
