Position SummaryThe Teacher Consultant works in the area of educational assessment and remediation consulting with administrative staff, teachers and other staff, and parents/guardians. Plans adaptive measures and meaningful curriculum adjustments to the individual needs of the hearing deaf and/or the hard of hearing student.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree required in education or a field of study related to special education. Valid Michigan teacher’s certificate with full approval in the deaf and hard of hearing and as teacher consultant.
- Three years of satisfactory teaching experience, not less than two years in a special education classroom.
52,361 – $92,683 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
