School Lead

Innocademy Allegan Campus is seeking a School Lead to provide consistent, day-to-day leadership for our small K‑8 public school academy in Fennville, Michigan. As a small school, we value strong relationships, consistency, collaboration, and a supportive learning environment where students are known well. Our size allows staff to work closely together, respond to individual student needs, and build a culture rooted in care and clear expectations.

• Provide visible daily leadership throughout the building
• Support and supervise staff
• Conduct teacher observations, feedback conversations, and evaluations
• Support instructional practices, curriculum implementation, and student learning
• Lead student behavior systems, discipline follow-up, and restorative practices
• Communicate with families regarding behavior, attendance, academics, and student needs
• Maintain a positive, consistent, and safe school culture
• Support schedules, procedures, compliance needs, and daily operations
• Communicate clearly with staff, families, and IES leadership
• Ensure follow-through with school expectations, systems, and procedures

• Prior school leadership, teacher leadership, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience with student behavior systems preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to build trust while maintaining clear expectations
• Full‑time, exempt position with school‑year and summer leadership responsibilities
