The Resource Teacher supports lead and assistant teachers by providing classroom coverage, assisting with lesson implementation, supervising children, and promoting a positive learning environment. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a passion for early childhood education.

- Provide coverage in preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms as needed.
- Assist teachers with implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
- Foster positive interactions and model appropriate behavior.
- Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being in accordance with licensing regulations and company policies.
- Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and rest time routines.
- Respond appropriately to children's needs and emergencies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environments.
- Support educational activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and school readiness.
- Engage children through play-based learning experiences.
- Prepare classroom materials and learning centers.
- Observe and communicate children's progress and developmental milestones to classroom teachers.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with special events, school activities, and transitions throughout the day.
- Promote a positive and professional school culture.
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA, associate degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or daycare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in multiple infant classrooms and adapt to changing needs.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
