Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Active Michigan (MI) SLP license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Ability to adapt communication and therapy strategies to students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and administrators
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support
  • Deliver direct therapy services tailored to the developmental level and unique needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and student integration
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings to create collaborative student support plans
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to students, families, and faculty
