The Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor of Political Science position in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences is primarily responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in politics and law; pursuing a scholarship and research agenda; serving on committees at all levels; involvement in service to the community; and advising students. - Minimum Qualifications:
- 1. Ph.D. in Political Science, Politics, Government, or related field prior to final appointment.
- 2. Strong consideration will be given to a candidate with a background in Legal Studies, Constitutional Law, and judicial politics.
- 3. Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 1. Demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching undergraduate courses.
- 2. Strong secondary specialization (such as public law and research methods) in political science that will complement our existing faculty strengths.
