We are seeking a qualified wind instrument repair technician who shares our passion for serving our musical community. Our technician’s responsibilities include providing estimates and completing repairs, from simple adjustments and preventative maintenance to complete rebuilds.
Required skills and qualifications- Possess the skills necessary to complete high-quality repair work.
- Be able to effectively play test each instrument repaired.
- Have two years experience in instrument repair, or have completed an apprenticeship with a NAPBIRT member shop.
- 5-6 years of experience repairing band instruments.

· We are a perennial NAMM top 100 music dealer as well as NAMM's Dealer of the year in 2017. We are passionate about music education and we work tirelessly to support our school partners in order to make more music makers.
· Our shop has a collaborative culture where you are encouraged to work as part of a team.
· We do our best to keep our techs on the bench. We try to take care of as many of the administrative tasks as possible. You will not need to communicate with customers or order parts. You will focus your efforts on repairing instruments.
· We provide tooling. If we do not have something you want, all you have to do is ask. We strive to run an efficient shop while providing the best repair possible.
· We are situated 20 miles north of Detroit, which has a thriving arts community including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Detroit also has a great food scene, festivals, and 4 major sports teams.
· Michigan is a great place to be with affordable home ownership. Fun outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, and the great lakes. A thriving music scene for both jazz and classical musicians.
Major concert venues and sports arenas just a short drive away.
