Position:
Product Engineer (Multiple Openings) Duties:
Design, develop, analyze, and maintain desktop and web applications supporting
emissions and fuel economy testing. Lead system integration and data flow initiatives using technologies such as JavaScript, Java, and C++, ensuring compliance with automotive testing standards. Develop automation tools to streamline test data collection, transfer, and processing across international teams. Implement secure file transfer protocols to enhance data protection. Collaborate with internal teams to deploy applications across testing sites, ensuring accurate data handling and system interoperability.

Work directly with engineers, technicians, and lab operators to understand test configurations and scheduling requirements, translating them into software features and efficient workflows. Integrate database solutions (DB2, MSSQL) to support robust and traceable data pipelines. Provide technical support and enhancements for legacy systems and contribute to code reviews and performance optimizations.

Location:

Various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.;

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor – Computer Science or a related field of study; will accept
equivalent foreign degree.

Experience:

Two (2) years in the position above, as a Research Engineer, Functional Design Engineer, or in a related software design/development engineering role.
Experience must include:

Developing data-driven solutions using visualization with Power BI.

Utilizing Linux and File Zilla for simulations and automation.

Automation scripting using Shell Scripting and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Using  for analyzing and reporting automotive test bench data.
