** QUALIFICATIONS
* * Education –
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field of study
Education - Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field of study
Years of
Experience:
Minimum ten plus (10+) years of related experience required
Supervisory
Experience:
Less than one (1) year of related experience required; one to three (1-3) years of experience preferred

** ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
*** The following salary information applies solely to the Ontario, Canada location.
** Total Compensation: $105,000 - $140,000 CAD
** Immediate, open position
** Assist Cosma global divisions, engineering, and R&D with technical issues.
* Communicate technical results to both intern and external technical resources.
* Coordinate and lead communication initiatives with global divisions regarding equipment advances, new technologies, best practices, lessons learned, and process optimization.
* Interface with OEM customers and provide single focus for engineering representation.
* Develop new technologies to meet increasing customer requirements relative to innovation.
* Fill pipeline of R&D projects to stay ahead of customer specifications and requirements.
* Conceive novel approaches to new applications/products or existing issues.
* Create RFQs for requirements necessary to carry out divisional and R&D projects in order to understand potential cost and/or benefits.
* Troubleshoot divisional issues.
* Provide necessary consultation required to help launch programs or manufacturing facilities.
* Recommend alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products, systems, or procedures.
* Responsible for keeping the organization abreast of developments in a designated area of expertise.
* Plan training sessions, establish procedures, and document lessons learned for future use.
* Plan and execute testing, development, DOE, and pre-production trials.
* Prepare project progress reports and business cases showing current and potential costs for ongoing and upcoming projects.
* Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications in a designated area of expertise.
* Analyze engineering results and propose product changes to determine feasibility, improvement of components and systems, and functional performance specifications.
