Job Summary
We are seeking a results‑oriented Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical interface between Nidec and strategic customers. You will be the technical face of Nidec, driving business growth through successful technical design wins and ensuring flawless execution of awarded projects.
Main Responsibilities- Technical Customer Management: lead technical consulting, manage customer interactions, lead technical reviews, ensure proactive responses to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Strategic Growth: collaborate with Key Account Managers to identify technology trends and promote deployment of Nidec’s latest innovations.
- Cross‑Functional Project Leadership: coordinate with R&D, Project Management, and QA teams to guarantee that projects meet critical Quality, Design, and Cost targets.
- Operational Excellence: oversee full lifecycle of Requirements Engineering, Change Management, and Problem Resolution processes.
- Stakeholder Alignment: maintain rigorous documentation including Open Point Lists and Minutes of Meetings to ensure transparency and synchronization across departments.
- Risk Mitigation: proactively identify project bottlenecks and work with senior management to implement decisive actions that secure Nidec’s strategic objectives.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. - Experience:
5+ years in Application Engineering, Product Development, or Technical Project Management, preferably within the automotive industry. - Industry Knowledge: proven experience in global corporate environments and strong understanding of market benchmarking and competitive analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: solid expertise in Requirements Management and Change Management protocols.
- Soft Skills:
exceptional presentation and negotiation skills; capability to build long‑term professional relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
