Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Location:

1624 Meijer Drive, Troy, MI 48084. Travel: up to 5% domestic.

• Coordinate manufacturing team and engineering activities at the plant and work to develop test strategies and improvement activities for current and future products.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to lead new assembly and/or functional test processes for remanufacturing/reprocessing fuel system products or components of commercial vehicles.
• Develop test methodologies for competitor components or products.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation for all responsible areas.
• Work with third‑party suppliers to develop new assembly and test equipment for reprocessing fuel system products or components.
• Guide manufacturing engineers on respective projects and troubleshoot existing production equipment.
• Conduct statistical data analysis and reporting.
• Conduct RFQ and Capex management for new assembly and test projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 36 months of experience in a related field.
• Experience developing high‑pressure hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Experience manufacturing or remanufacturing light, medium, or heavy‑duty fuel system components.
• Experience commissioning leak test systems (decay, tracer gas, and mass flow).
• Experience with data acquisition systems and industrial control systems.
• Experience with industrial vision systems (Keyence and Cognex) and assembly line design.
• Experience with CAN communication and testing CAN devices.
• Experience with tooling and nesting mechanical design for assembly and test stations using CAD software.
• Must be able to travel up to 5% domestic.
