Job SummaryWe are looking for experienced Automotive ADAS Validation / Diagnostics Engineers with strong automotive domain expertise and hands‑on testing experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of ADAS systems, Diagnostics, Functional Safety (FuSA), vehicle communication protocols, and automation using CAPL/Python.
Candidates must be able to clearly explain their current project responsibilities, system architecture, testing methodologies, and technical contributions in detail during interviews.
Required Skills Automotive & ADAS- Strong understanding of Automotive Embedded Systems and Vehicle Architecture.
- Experience working on ADAS features such as:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
- Parking Assistance Systems
- Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS)
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE and V-Model development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Automotive Diagnostics concepts.
- Experience with:
- CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet
- Flashing/Reprogramming
- Familiarity with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, or equivalent.
- Understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
- Experience validating safety requirements and safety mechanisms.
- Knowledge of ASIL classifications and safety testing methodologies.
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and validation strategies.
- Strong system-level and integration testing experience.
- Experience in defect identification, root cause analysis, and issue tracking.
- Exposure to HIL/SIL/MIL environments is highly preferred.
- Strong CAPL scripting experience.
- Good Python programming skills for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks and validation scripts.
- Experience using JIRA for requirement tracking and defect management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Polarion is a plus.
- Analyze ADAS, Diagnostics, and Functional Safety requirements.
- Develop validation strategies, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Perform diagnostics validation using CANoe/CANalyzer and related tools.
- Develop CAPL and Python scripts for automation.
- Track defects using JIRA and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
- Support Functional Safety verification activities in compliance with ISO 26262.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and test readiness reviews.
- Provide detailed technical explanations of current project work during client interviews.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Automotive Testing/Validation experience.
- Prior ADAS, Diagnostics, or Functional Safety project experience.
- Experience with OEMs or Tier‑1 automotive suppliers is highly preferred.
- Discuss Diagnostics and Functional Safety concepts in detail.
- Demonstrate hands‑on CANoe/CAPL experience.
- Explain Python automation frameworks developed or maintained.
- Walk through test strategy, defect lifecycle, and validation activities.
