Mission of the Position: Supplier Quality Development Engineer (SQDE) Electronics ensures process standardization with respect to launch programs by supporting SQDE projects principally in Magna Powertrain (MPT) North America (NA). The individual will ensure compliance while focusing on flawless launch initiatives for MPT NA Programs.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Capability Assessments, Run-at-Rates, Manufacturing Capability Audits, Control Plan Audits, etc., and take necessary actions as required.
- Understand applicable Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage immediately.
- Follow safety rules.
- Comply with requirements for the use or operation of machines or equipment.
- Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
