Controls Software Programmer

Crystal Engineering Solutions is a full service engineering & contract services company.

Responsible to provide commissioning support and to design and integrate controls software engineering for assigned projects. Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) as required. Execute software product design and commissioning of software machine functionality. Develop and integrate programming strategies and software design from functional specifications. Carry out engineering solutions and designs in compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and project specifications.

• Requires Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering or foreign educational equivalent.
• Candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience in the position offered. Experience must include programming and commissioning of PLCs for automotive component manufacturing applications.
• Work location:
  
  Troy, MI.
• Travel: 30% of time, includes international.

Design electrical hardwire circuits including Power Distribution, Safety Circuits, I/O, Field Bus, Panel Layouts and Bill of Material s.

• At least 3 years experience in the design of electrical hardwire circuits.
• Software experience must include:
  Acad V14 or greater, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Detail electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic hardwire circuits. Panel Layouts, and Bill of Material s.

• At least 3 years experience in the detail of electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic hardwire circuits.
• Software experience must include:
  Acad V14 or greater, Microsoft Word and Excel.

• At least 5 years experience in robot programming of FANUC, ABB, NACHI and/or KUKA robots.

• At least 3 years experience in Dictation, Schedule Management, Budget Management, and Personnel Management.
• At least 3 years experience in basic office skills including Proper Phone Etiquette, Filing, Mail Distribution.
