Job Title :
Engineering Specialist (Issue Triage Engineer)
Duration : 4-5 months with quarterly extensions
Location : 5725 Innovation Drive, Troy, MI, USA
Job Description:
We're looking for an Issue Triage Engineer to support vehicle system testing and ADAS development.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in EE, ME, or a related automotive field
- Hands-on experience with CAN networks
- Basic understanding of vehicle components and ADAS systems
- Scripting skills in MATLAB and Python
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ADAS, CANoe, Jira, Ethernet/LIN, embedded debugging, C++, Simulink, and functional safety
- Knowledge of radar/camera sensors, vehicle dynamics, and signal processing
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and analyze issues identified during vehicle system testing (VSYS4/VSYS5)
- Review system design, test cases, and test data
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to drive issue resolution
- Develop automation scripts to improve testing efficiency
- Identify common failure patterns and recommend process improvements
