Product Engineer

Responsibilities:

• * Develop 3D models, assemblies, surfaces, and 2D technical drawings using CATIA V5
• * Work from customer requirements, specifications, and initial concepts to develop production-ready designs
• * Create detailed drawings, specifications, and part lists
• * Support product development from concept through testing, validation, and production
• * Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve design issues
• * Participate in design reviews and cross-functional project meetings
• * Make design modifications based on testing, manufacturing feedback, or customer requirements
• * Support prototype and sample builds as needed
• * Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding design requirements and project updates
• * Occasionally travel to customer or manufacturing locations as needed

• * 3+ years of experience in product, mechanical, or automotive design
• * Technical degree, CAD certification, or equivalent relevant experience
• * Strong experience with CATIA V5
• * Experience with 3D modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and 2D drafting
• * UG NX experience is a plus
• * Experience with Teamcenter or another PLM system
• * Experience working with engineered components or assemblies within an automotive, transportation, or similar manufacturing environment
• * Understanding of product testing, validation, and manufacturing processes
• * Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
• * Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams
• * Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; PLEX experience is a plus
