The Finance Manager oversees the daily financial and accounting activities by preparing reports, managing the budget and forecast process and partners with the leadership team to provide insights for decision making. The Finance Manager works closely with the Accounting Shared Service Team.
- Manage Accounts Payables & Accounts Receivables, and General Accounting duties provided by the Shared Service Center.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and analyze financial statements to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. Develop complex financial reports/dashboards, and provide commentary on financial performance to the Headquarter in Germany. - Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budget process and prepare monthly forecasting reports in alignment with the Headquarter in Germany. - Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage daily cash positions, liquidity, and prepare monthly cash flow estimations. - Strategy & Decision Support:
Advise senior management on financial decisions, develop long-term financial goals, and create strategies to support business objectives. - Process Improvement:
Drive efficiency and accuracy through automation and streamlining financial processes. - Compliance & Controls/
Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, manage audits, and implement strong internal controls, identify and mitigate financial risks - Operate appropriately within respective areas of the Quality Program.
- Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management.
- This position supervises Finance and Accounting activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Accounting, preferable in Project Business
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, and IFRS accounting rules and regulations
- Supervisory Accounting skills and experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, data driven and attention to detail
- High self-motivation and willingness to perform
- Work cross functionally
- Organizational skills
- Excellent oral & written communications skills
- Required:
Use of Microsoft M365 software in a windows operating system.
