This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Loan Officer Assistant located in Troy, MI. The Loan Officer Assistant will support the loan origination process by assisting Loan Officers with pre‑qualification procedures, coordinating with applicants to gather essential documentation, reviewing loan files for completeness, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities will also include data entry, tracking loan progress, customer service, and communicating with underwriting teams to ensure smooth processing.
Qualifications- Familiarity with Loan Officers and foundational knowledge of the Mortgage Industry
- Strong Customer Service skills to assist clients effectively and professionally
- Understanding of Underwriting processes and the ability to collaborate with underwriting teams
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage documentation efficiently
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Proficiency in loan origination software and basic office tools is advantageous
Pay: $15 - $20 per hour + Commission
