We’re looking for a Mortgage Closer Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional support to our Closing team. If you’re organized, proactive, and enjoy keeping transactions moving toward the finish line, we’d love to meet you. This role works closely with Closers, Loan Officers, Processors, Title Companies, and other business partners to ensure loan packages are accurate, compliant, and ready for funding.

- Assist Mortgage Closers with managing a pipeline of residential mortgage loans.
- Prepare and review loan files to ensure documentation is complete prior to closing.
- Coordinate with title companies, settlement agents, lenders, and internal departments to schedule closings.
- Order and track payoff statements, homeowner’s insurance, title work, and other required closing documentation.
- Review Closing Disclosures (CDs) and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate with Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, and borrowers regarding outstanding closing conditions.
- Upload, organize, and maintain electronic loan files within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
- Monitor closing timelines and proactively follow up to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with post-closing documentation and funding preparation as needed.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and federal/state regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process.
- Previous mortgage industry experience preferred (Closing, Processing, Funding, or Operations).
- Strong understanding of TILA regulations, escrow procedures, contracts, and basic math skills required for accurate calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
$21 - $24 hourly
