We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Mortgage Loan Sales Coordinator at our Grand Rapids (Corporate), MI location. United Bank is searching for driven individuals who are profoundly detailed, along with focused on helping our customers by meeting their mortgage loan objectives. Whether you have several years of experience or are new to the mortgage industry, we would love to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

The Mortgage Loan Sales Coordinator position is a fundamental position at United Bank. You have the important role of supporting Mortgage Loan Originators and Officers. You will respond to telephone and walk-in customer inquiries and act as a resource for mortgage information to existing customers. You will interview loan applicants explaining appropriate mortgage products and cross-selling related bank services. You will examine customer financial statements, credit reports, employment profiles and real estate property information to evaluate mortgage qualifications on a preliminary basis.

You will conduct sales meetings to present United Bank products, rates and policy updates for relators and builder clients. You may prepare periodic reports of loan origination activity and represent the bank at industry events. You may be required to meet with clients on and off site and may conduct construction inspections. You are responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to this position and may undertake special projects relating to departmental services as assigned.

This position requires:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.);1 to 2 years related experience and/or training;

OR combination of both education and experience;

Ability to work varied weekend and evening hours;

Transportation to meet clients on or off site;

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, business correspondence, mortgage regulations, and procedure manuals;

Regular sitting;

Utilizing hands & arms;

Ability to talk & hear.
