Our firm has been engaged by an SEC Registrant to find a Senior Tax Analyst with a heavy emphasis on accounting for income taxes for a 1-2 day WFH hybrid role. This is a fantastic opportunity for 3+ year public accounting candidates not looking forward to another hectic tax compliance deadline this month or candidates feeling stuck in a corporate tax role.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with highly competent tax leaders, and an outstanding VP or Tax who will mentor you and develop your skills in all areas of income tax compliance, tax planning, ASC 740, international tax, and managing deadlines and quarterly estimates. Base compensation goes up to $130k for an experienced CPA with income tax provision experience.
This role includes annual bonus of 5-10% and generous benefits. We can be creative and stretch a bit for a candidate closer to the manager level too.
- Assist in the preparation of interim and annual tax provision calculations and ledger entries
- Calculate book / tax differences by preparing clear and concise work papers
- Be a focal point with Big 4 external auditors coordinating accurate reporting and hitting deadlines
- Maintain accurate tax fixed asset records and coordinate estimated tax payments
- Support tax forecasts, tax calendars, and ongoing audits
- Minimum 2+ years of tax experience, including ASC 740 provision experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
Master’s degree is a plus - CPA designation preferred, but not required
- Work ethic and ability to work slightly longer hours around reporting, and filing deadlines
