The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Radiation oncology nurses specialize in providing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy for cancer treatment. They work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment.

This is a PRN nurse position in Radiation Oncology Ambulatory Clinic. The clinic runs M-F 7AM-4PM, no weekends or holidays. The schedule consists of 8‑hour shifts.

• Required:
  
  Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N.), M.S.N., or DNP/PhD. If not a minimum BSN, new graduate/nurse with less than one year experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete within five years. Preferred effective September 2024.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) – State of Michigan. Required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross required upon hire.
