Overview

Position:
Full-Time Case Manager (Children and Youth) with Wellvance Community Mental Health Authority. Hourly rate: $21.74.

Location:

Mio, MI (service area includes Ogemaw, Oscoda Counties).

Wellvance is committed to providing essential mental health services to individuals in northern Michigan, including those with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), Serious Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), and Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). This role supports children and families to create lasting impact through person-centered planning and community collaboration.

• Provide case management and support services for children and youth up to age 21.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care.
• Implement person-centered plans and monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with agency standards.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Social Work.
• Licensure:
  Must be licensed in Michigan (LLBSW/LBSW).
• Must be a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) or able to obtain certification.
• Experience working with children and youth is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office technology.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Emergency Services (E.S.) Certification
• CAFAS Certification

• Valid Michigan driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within service area.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks (criminal, driving, education, employment).
