As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. Under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you’ll perform administrative and clinical tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. Your work directly supports providers and contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure and record vital signs, preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and enhance patient care.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five years, OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years, OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years.
• Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.

• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
