As a Laundry Attendant at Hilton Garden Inn, you are an essential part of delivering the fresh, clean comfort our guests expect. You are responsible for operating laundry equipment, processing linens and towels, assisting with stocking, and keeping laundry operations running smoothly. This is a hands‑on role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and pride in maintaining Hilton’s high cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities- Operate washers, dryers, and finishing equipment to clean hotel linens and towels.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry while following proper safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report issues to the supervisor.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry for delivery to housekeeping.
- Stock linen closets on guestroom floors with clean supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, carts, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, chemicals, and supplies, and communicate needs to leadership.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping support tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to Hilton brand standards and all safety protocols, including handling of cleaning chemicals.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience helpful, but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and handle large linen bags, carts, and boxes of inventory.
- Able to stand, bend, and work on your feet in a warm environment for extended periods.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑focused attitude.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as needed.
