HR Onboarding & Payroll Admin

, in partnership with an engineering-focused organization, is seeking a skilled HR Onboarding & Payroll Admin
. This role is responsible for coordinating onboarding activities, processing HRIS transactions, and ensuring compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Manage preboarding and onboarding activities within the HRIS system
• Process background checks, drug screens, and E-Verify while ensuring I-9 compliance
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, including system access, equipment, and related arrangements
• Conduct new hire orientations and review payroll data for accuracy
• Process HR transactions, including hires, changes, and terminations
• Maintain electronic personnel files and onboarding tracking documentation
• Support co-op program administration and offboarding activities

• 3 years of HR experience with onboarding exposure
• Experience working in an HRIS system, Paylocity
• Knowledge of employment documentation and records management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

• Experience with Paylocity, including onboarding workflows and timesheet uploads
