ResponsibilitiesThe Managed Services Technician Level 2 is a strategic, as well as tactical, technical position within the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of customer's data network, coordinating complex projects, and implementing network solutions.
- Execute internal and client facing technical requests
- Assist in development of standards and procedures
- Assist in the management and upkeep of client networks
- Document all work performed in ticketing system
- Provide technical support at clients’ sites
- Implement technology industry-approved "best practices"
- Security planning and configuration on the Windows Server platform
- Provide end-user software troubleshooting and support
- Active Directory and Group Policy management (including Power Shell)
- Platform Virtualization solutions using Hyper‑V and VMWare
- Backup and Disaster Recovery techniques
- Provide support for clients’ workstations (PC & Mac) and servers
- Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and related technologies
- Degree in a related technical discipline or the equivalent work experience
- 5+ years minimum experience required
- A combination of education and technical certifications is preferred
- A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Expert level, practical experience with the Windows Server family
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud Solutions – Microsoft 365, Azure IaaS, Azure Files, Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access policies, etc.
- Knowledgeable in all current Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
- Extensive experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Advanced understanding of networking fundamentals and hands on experience working with firewall, managed switches, wireless infrastructure, etc.
- Familiarity with both VMWare & Hyper‑V virtualization platforms
- Experience working within the IT Managed Service/MSP Industry
- Connect Wise Manage & Automate (Labtech) experience is essential
- Experience with design and management of disaster recovery solutions

Salary range: $46,785.00-$71,245.00
