Responsibilities
- Work with project stakeholders to understand business needs and propose architecture solutions
- Ensure architectural compliance to development, security, and infrastructure standards across the design
- Lead and execute transformational infrastructure projects such as migration from on-premises to public cloud
- Act as a mentor to build confidence and scale up younger resources in the team
- Expertise in migrating workloads from on-premise to AWS using the 7‑R pattern
- Expertise in designing target deployment architecture
- Experience with various AWS migration tools
- Expertise in Network and Security components within AWS
- Designing & developing AWS Cloud‑based systems using Cloud Formation or Terraform
- Hands‑on experience in implementing and supporting AWS environments
- Designing & developing AWS Cloud‑based systems using cloud native tools
- In‑depth understanding of cloud architecture & ability to advise/work on end‑to‑end cloud infrastructure
- Development of cloud workflows and processes
- Designing and developing monitoring solutions using AWS native services
- Conversant with best practices for cloud security & scalability; well versed in the Well‑Architected Framework pillars
- Experience with the AWS cloud PaaS stack, including Lambda, ECS, EKS, IAM, etc.
- Implementation of the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack
- Execution and deployment of solutions in containerized platforms
- Experience with third‑party specialty software such as Cloud Custodian and Elastic Stack
- Experience with multiple public cloud deployments
- Bachelor of Computer Science
