Job Summary:

Our client in Troy, MI is looking for an Manufacturing IT Project Manager to lead an MES Implementation. This is a contract position.

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. A Project Manager (PM) plays a crucial role in overseeing technology-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing a cohesive project plan with defined tasks & assigned resources, managing remediate issues & risks, communicating status to executives, and leading the project team to ensure successful technology implementations.

The project scope is an MES Implementation along with integrations to plant floor equipment and back-office systems (ERP, PLM).

• Project Planning and Implementation:
  Lead the planning and execution of technical projects, ensuring alignment with outlined objectives.
• Resource Coordination:
  Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
• Risk & Issue Management:
  Identify and manage project risks & issues to minimize potential issues.
• Performance Measurement:
  Use appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to measure project performance.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Report and escalate issues to management as needed and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Quality Assurance:
  Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure project objectives are met.

Required Qualifications:

  Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT or a related field.

  Proven experience in automotive manufacturing processes and MES system implementation
