OverviewSeeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize data platforms and reporting solutions. The role focuses on transforming Dynamics 365 data via Synapse Link into curated datasets for analytics, reporting, and business insights using Azure, Synapse, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain data pipelines for Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer architecture
- Transform and optimize Dynamics 365 / Dataverse data using Azure and Synapse
- Develop curated datasets for reporting and analytics
- Create and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Automate data refreshes, workflows, and reporting pipelines
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams for reporting solutions
- Document data pipelines, transformations, and architecture
- 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics
- Strong experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and SQL
- Hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Synapse Link
- Strong Power BI skills including DAX and data modeling
- Experience with medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Power Platform, and data integration
- Knowledge of ERP/eCommerce data integration
- Exposure to Databricks is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to manage end‑to‑end data pipelines and reporting solutions
- Detail‑oriented with strong focus on data accuracy
