Application Support Specialist

We’re seeking to connect a Application Support Specialist with a leading organization in the judicial field on a contract basis. The role is in-person and located in Troy, MI. As an Application Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to join a passionate, motivated team and leverage your expertise in supporting the technical needs of District Court staff while Court is in session.

Pay: $20-25/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and provide light desktop support for court staff, resolving daily technology issues, especially during court sessions.
• Enter and escalate support tickets to County IT for advanced technical problems.
• Learn and support court-specific technologies, including the MiFILE application and audio/visual systems.
• Serve as an on-site technology resource at the District Court, ensuring smooth operations during court hours.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or technical troubleshooting
  , preferably in a judicial or legal environment.
• Proficient in supporting business users with specific software applications, including MiFILE, audio/visual, and recording equipment.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate court-specific technologies and line-of-business systems.
• Strong communication skills to interface effectively with judicial staff, County IT, and the public.
