This team is exploring how AI, data science, and predictive analytics can be used to solve complex quality and sustainability challenges across the business. By combining advanced analytical techniques with real-world data, the team is working to identify patterns, predict potential quality risks, and uncover opportunities to reduce waste and improve outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply technical skills to an emerging area where data, business strategy, and sustainability intersect.
Interns will have the opportunity to help shape new approaches, work through ambiguous problems, and develop solutions that can create measurable business impact.
The intern will develop predictive analytics and AI-driven solutions that help identify potential quality issues before they occur. Using manufacturing, operational, and quality datasets, the intern will explore patterns, build predictive models, and develop data-driven insights that support earlier intervention and decision-making.
The intern will also help quantify the business and sustainability impact of these solutions by evaluating reductions in material and packaging waste, estimating environmental benefits, and identifying opportunities for recycling and recovery. This role combines data science, machine learning, statistical modeling, and business storytelling to demonstrate how advanced analytics can drive both operational excellence and sustainability outcomes.

Undergraduate students who will have completed their freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year by the start of the internship and will remain academically active through the internship, with an anticipated graduation date between August 2027 and April 2030.
Technical Skills (Platforms, Programs, Tools, etc.):Strong data analysis and statistical modeling skills
Experience working with large or complex datasets
Proficiency with AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics concepts
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Data visualization and technical storytelling skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Able to work independently with limited direction
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable collaborating across teams and functions
Curious, resourceful, and eager to learn
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and defining a path forward
