Independence Tooling is actively seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team!
Responsibilities- Produce machined parts by setting up, and operating a mill and/or computer numerical control (CNC) machine
- Plan machining by studying work orders and blueprints
- Set up mills by tramming/indicating vices and/or work material
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- 3 plus years' experience of CNC machining
- Experience with 5-axis and Heidenhain or Fidia controller
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense is a plus
