- Essential functions of this role include working up to 6 hours of overtime per week.
- Industry
Experience:
Proven background inspecting SMT PCB assemblies within an electronics manufacturing environment. - Technical Knowledge: strong understanding of various SMT component types and package dimensions.
- Quality Standards: Familiarity with IPC-A-610 workmanship guidelines.
- Communication: Fully proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to easily understand and follow detailed instructions.
- Physical & Operational Stamina: Comfortable managing repetitive tasks and remaining seated or standing for the duration of an 8-to-10-hour shift.
- Basic
Competencies:
strong foundational math skills and comfortable navigating basic Windows PC operations using a mouse and keyboard. - Professionalism: Meticulous attention to detail and a track record of exceptional punctuality and attendance.
- Active
Certifications:
Currently hold IPC-A-610 CIS and/or IPC-711/7721 CIS credentials. - Rework Capabilities: Hands-on experience repairing and reworking both SMT and PTH-based PCB assemblies.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing rework soldering gear, including soldering irons, desoldering tools, and hot air systems.
- Technical Problem Solving: Ability to interpret schematics to assist with baseline electronics troubleshooting.
- Advanced Assembly: Capable of executing intricate assembly processes using printed work instructions or interactive, PC-driven testing tools.
