At Kindel Karges, we don’t just build furniture, we create legacy pieces. We’re seeking a Chief Operating Officer who can elevate operations, optimize processes of custom craftsmanship, strengthen culture, and lead high-performing teams in a luxury manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do- Lead all plant operations, driving efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
- Operational strategy and planning
- Oversee key functions: 35-50 shop members including Shipping & Logistics, Finishing, CNC, Assembly, Quality, Safety, and Engineering
- Champion craftsmanship excellence and uphold premium product standards
- Build and develop high-performing, engaged teams
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Own operational KPIs, productivity, and plant-level financial performance
- Foster a safe, collaborative, and people-first culture
- 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing (furniture preferred)
- Strong background in Lean MFG, Six Sigma, Kaizen
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (S5 preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional plant teams
- Tech-savvy, data-driven, and operationally strategic
- Strong financial acumen and business insight
